About The Band

The Band "Horizon" was formed in 1973 and quickly became one of the most sought after groups in and around Boston.  Still going strong into the year 2001, now as -

they continue to build a reputation for professionalism and versatility.  Their success at  weddings and parties has been proved, and their extensive repertoire and high energy performance ensures a favorite song for dancers and listeners alike.

plays current dance tunes, jazz, light and classic rock, and frequent selections from the Top Ten.  New Horizon Events mean music all night long with CD's played during breaks. Their five-member band offers male and female vocals, drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, sax, flute, trombone and trumpet and has performed at many major area hotels, country clubs, and function halls.  The band has played over 1500 weddings and a number of Boston area nightclubs.  Some clients include:  Dick Syatt Singles; The Boston Bruins; Toyota, Parker Brothers, and Kraft Corporations; Fidelity Investments; Senator Ed Markey and Congressman Joe Kennedy.
